The REAL Iron Man

Wang Kang, who works for a telecom company in Shanghai, you spend three months making a costume out of high density foam, wires, and tubes; then you wear it into the office and frighten the Hell out of your coworkers. Kang's costume is extremely detailed. Not only that, but it weighs approximately eight stone (112 lbs), which means that walking around in the outfit must've been insanely uncomfortable. According to Wang, "no colleagues knew my mission. Some of them froze there seeing me approach. Some were even screaming in fear."

The costume, which is of the Mark I armor, is promised to be the first of many from the young man. Wang wanted to work on the Mark I so he could refine his skills and then work on a Mark II outfit. While photos and videos of the costume in action have been circulating the Web to a ton of acclaim, at least a few folks were less than amused with Wang's costume. Apparently his supervisors demanded that he be escorted off company property by a security guard.

A Couple Of PSN Updates

First and foremost, here's a great video on why Anonymous didn't cause the PSN outage. And I personally agree with him. Simply put, there are no lulz on the PSN outage, the only thing there was boredom, and criminal activity.

Sony's Problems Rages On

Seems that the rumor that the PSN Store will reopen on May 24 is a false alarm. Sony's update stated that the service back up by the end of the month. Some features of the network will also be offline for maintenance until day's end today, though a “majority” of US consumers will still be able to access online play. This as fresh hacker attacks plague the company in Greece and Japan.

How much did the PSN outage actually costs Sony? With 77 million accounts details compromised and a reported $318 per record attached for the third party security firm alone, Sony are looking at a bill of $24.5 billion. If you add that to the recently announced customer compensation package and the revenues from the network itself, then the result is one expensive headache for Sony.
