Gifts w/ Strings Attached?

Parents often gives their child gifts, but should they ever come with strings attached such as from this one? A contract just for a phone? And around half of the points are moot!

Why Would YOU Buy Android?

Google Android has come out of nowhere in the last couple of years to dominate the smartphone industry. And to be fair, even a couple of my friend is also in this Android Hype. Though I'm interested in Android as well, I also like Apple's iPhone 4! The question is, is Google's dominance going to continue? Or will Apple's move to sell the iPhone with more carriers -- especially Verizon in the U.S. -- neutralize the Android threat?
